Medal of Honor: Civil War released!
There seem to be an "official" server for the mod @ 67.19.42.52
Strory: A Nation Divided
Conflict over issues of how much control the federal government
should have over the states, industrialization, trade, and especially slavery had increased tension between Northern and
Southern states. After Abraham Lincoln was elected president in 1860, 11 Southern states seceded (or withdrew) from the Union
and set up an independent government--the Confederate States of America. These events led to the outbreak of the Civil
War--a brutal, bloody, four-year conflict that left the South defeated and ended slavery at the cost of more than half a million
lives.
This is your story... step into the shoes of a civil war soldier on the most famous battlefields of all time.
With your musket in hand you will bring your side to victory!
Features:
- Authentic Civil War Weapons, uniforms and battlefeilds.
- 10 Epic Civil War Battlefield maps
- All new Mohaa menus and interfaces for Mohcw.
- Free Download (only compatible with Medal of
Honor: Allied Assault)
Awesome job Matt! This is a screencap of a grenade effect.
If the explosion goes off around the players legs, one blows off.
Benchrest Sniper. This will... of cousre replace the sniper rifle.
BENCHREST
New Renders of all the weapons from Matt. These models are awesome!
RENDER PICTURES
We are taking some backward steps. Planning must be started over. The site will be updated with all the
important information after planning is completed.
We are going to rent all the weapons that are going to be in this
game so that we can get a good feel for them. We are going to record video footage to help with the reload animations etc.
So far all the sources that were to supply us with footage have fell through. Only thing that is holding back the weapon pickup
for the shoot is that there are 3 Civil War Movies being made in Hollywood. Every weapon is available except the muskets (which
was the major reason we are renting the guns).
Well folks stay tuned!
-
The weapons will include double barrel shotgun, remington pistol, 1861 musket w/ bayonet, bowie
knife and a few others... haven't decided on the Winchester repeater yet.
-
Do to all of us having busy lives we had got a bit side tracked for a bit. Work
is continuing and is going well. We are downgrading reloads a bit and picking weapons of the era such as the Sharps and Starr
carbine to help with the reloads not being as complicated. The Musket reload is still giving us a bit of trouble.
For
all you out there that are skeptical of us actually creating our own reloads let me just say this. For the amount of time
it has taken to us we could have been done with all the reloads. We are using the idle animation from all the weapons to create
the reloads. For the record...
-
Well anyway.. the maps models and GUI are all being worked on. I am sorry to say
that the beta won't be here very soon. From what I have seen from Matt the more time it takes the better the mod will be.
-
Site has just been uploaded. A few minor glitches
but working pretty good. The new design is one it's way... but I wanted to make sure that there was something here to see
how things were going. Currently they are slow due to the lack of a modding team. If you would like to help out (PLEASE) then
go here and check out the jobs.
Mod will include:
-
Maps of the Region
-
Civil War Uniforms
-
Civil War Weapons
-

Note: Please make sure to tell us
a bit about yourself and tell us how much time you have to dedicate to the project. Also, attach a picture or two to
the email of some recent work you have done. It does not have to be Medal of Honor related, though it would be nice.
